Remade Sweden, a design centre focusing on recycled design, will open in October 2008 in the town of Eskilstuna, Sweden - about 100 kilometres south west of Stockholm. The centre is one of the first of its kind in the country and will mainly contain a shop and exhibition space, but will also hold workshops and a one-year course in recycled design. Remade Sweden will run its main activities in Eskilstuna, but will cooperate with similar associations and organisations all over Sweden and Europe.
