Bally’s Sportsbook To Reopen – Sportsbook Online
The temporary closure of the race and sports book at Bally’s is nearing an end. The Bally’s Race and Sports Book will reopen with a new roster of offerings just in time for football season.
Bally’s announced yesterday that it’ll reopen on August 26th. Beginning Aug. 26, the full-service sportsbook will celebrate the re-opening with an exclusive VIP viewing area, celebrity appearances by well-known sports figures, “text-to-win†promotions and drink specials.
The recently added VIP Lounge offers sports enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy their favorite game in High Definition. The VIP area can accommodate up to 100 guests for an exclusive game day experience.
Located in Bally’s Avenue Shoppes, the sportsbook was temporarily idled March 31 in what was seen as a cost-cutting move.
Bally’s Hotel and Casino, located on the bust corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd, made the controversial decision to close its Race and Sports Book for budgetary reasons back on March 31st, 2009. It was unclear at that time when the Sportsbook would reopen.
AVP has been informed that the Bally’s Race and Sports Book will be re-opening on Wednesday, August 26th, in time for college football wagering.
The 200 seat theatre style sports book is one of the largest on the Strip, and offers over 30 screens and 12 betting windows.
At that time, Bally’s said guests could still visit the sports book at its sister property, Paris.
Throughout the season, guests can text to win trips to several NFL games and a grand prize package to the big game.
